How long to learn Russian if I study about 1 hour a day?

One hour a day is enough to make real progress. Rough estimates: with that pace, basic proficiency (simple conversations, everyday phrases) often takes around 6–12 months if you use the time well. Try to include speaking or listening, not only apps—e.g. one or two live lessons per week plus daily practice. Many of our students are in the same situation and do fine.

I've been doing 1 hour daily for 8 months (mostly group class + homework). I can hold a short conversation and read simple texts. Slow and steady works.
