Best way to start learning Russian?

I recommend learning the alphabet and basic sounds first—it only takes a few days and makes everything else easier. Then move to simple phrases and greetings. We cover this in our Easy Start course.

I did alphabet + Duolingo for a month, then joined VividRussian. The structured lessons made a huge difference. Good luck!

Same here—alphabet first. Don't rush. Once you can read, vocabulary sticks much better.
